- Adequate English communication skills for working with children and families
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required for placement
- A National Police Check may be required by placement providers

- Willingness to complete mandatory work placement hours in an approved early childhood setting
- General Pre-requisites for RPL Certification
- Demonstrated experience working with children in early childhood or related care environments
- Evidence of applying approved learning frameworks (e.g. EYLF) in practice

- Experience implementing safe practices, supervision, and risk minimisation
